PARK CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT CONDUCTS PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE ASSESSMENT OF THE CENTRAL WEST END

PCD HOSTS COMMUNITY MEETING AUGUST 11 IN CWE

Park Central Development continually strives to enhance the communities it serves.  In 2016, Park Central Development embarked on a yearlong plan to assess the public infrastructure needs of the Central West End in the area bordered by Kingshighway, Lindell, Vandeventer, and Forest Park.  In order to build consensus regarding infrastructure needs and priorities, Park Central Development has established a committee made up of Central West End residents and community stakeholders, is holding several public forums, and has setup an on-line survey to gather additional community feedback.  At the end of the year, Park Central Development plans to produce a 5-year action plan to address the identified infrastructure needs.  If you are a Central West End resident or stakeholder, please take a few minutes to complete the survey.

RFP ISSUED FOR GROVE PARKING LOT

PARKING LOT AT 4101 MANCHESTER TO BE REDEVELOPED

Park Central Development continues to work in bringing new businesses and investment to the Grove commercial district.  Most recently, Park Central Development worked with Alderman Joe Roddy and the City of St. Louis to issue a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the city-owned parking lot at 4101 Manchester.  Park Central Development’s goal is to assist the Grove in becoming one of the most highly dense, urban, and walkable commercial areas in St. Louis.  As part of that effort, Park Central Development seeks investors to revitalize historic storefronts and to construct mixed-use buildings on underutilized and vacant properties.  A mixed-use, new construction project on an existing parking lot will add to the vibrancy and walkability of the Grove.
