The 12th Annual Grove Fest, returns on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Join us on Manchester Ave. between Arco and Sarah. The eclectic street festival is free to attend and presented by the Grove Community Improvement District.
Be prepared for a variety of experiences! The Urban Chestnut Main Stage features up and coming local artists, emcee Rafe Williams, and national musical acts. Fashion Village, with a second small stage, plays host to two fashion shows by City Boutique and a variety show by the Monocle. Both establishments are located in the Grove – we’re excited to showcase our talented businesses.
Kid friendly during the day, the Family Area will feature an arts and crafts booth, bounce house and an inflatable slide. There’s plenty to eat, drink and do! We’ve joined forces with World Hoop Day, who will hold their 9th Annual Workshop and Showcase during Grove Fest. More interactive fun in the form of Double Dutch and Ga Ga Ball add to the list of things to enjoy.
Shop local artists and fashion trucks and have lunch or dinner at one of our many food booths. Watch street performers or people watch. Get ready for the unveiling of our newest public art mural, the annual Paint by Numbers, sponsored by Midland States Bank.
Grove Fest is a free community event and we rely on a combination of sponsorships and donations to support its production. Volunteers will be stationed at entry points asking folks to consider a suggested $5 donation to sustain the festival. All funds collected go right back into Grove Fest and help us keep bringing this festival to the community. Giving always feels good – but getting is better! Donate, and walk away with an exclusive, limited edition token of thanks for your support.
25,000 people enjoyed Grove Fest last year – will you be among them this year? Mark your calendars – and come find what you love about the Grove on Saturday, October 7th.
