Botanical Heights Needs Assessment and Action Plan

Park Central Development staff worked closely with the Botanical Heights Neighborhood Association and a committee of community stakeholders since Spring 2017 to design a neighborhood needs assessment and action plan that addresses the identified needs in the area. After many months of outreach and community engagement activities, a total of 129 residents in the Botanical Heights neighborhood responded to the 50+ questions survey that asks residents what they liked about the neighborhood and what they would like to see different. The final copy of the Botanical Heights Neighborhood 2017 Needs Assessment & Action Plan is available HERE.

Part of the plan includes forming up to three committees in the neighborhood to address the identified needs and projects to move the neighborhood forward. The three committees are 1) Crime & Safety, 2) Beautification & Public Infrastructure, and 3) Community Events & Programs. If you are a resident or business owner in the Botanical Heights neighborhood, we encourage you to get involved!

The first Botanical Heights’ committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28th at 5:30pm at City Garden Montessori School (1618 Tower Grove Avenue). For more information or to RSVP for the committee meeting, please email or call 314-535-5311.
